Donald E. Pankake

Donald E. Pankake, 85, formerly of Grantville passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020.

Born June 24, 1934 in East Hanover Township, Dauphin County, he was a son of the late George and Gertie (Seaman) Pankake.  The last of his immediate family, he was preceded in death by siblings G. Seaman Pankake, Ruth Dechert, John Pankake, May Juran, Warren Pankake, Josephine Grubb, Paul Pankake, Christian Pankake and Jean Garrison.

A 1952 graduate of Hershey High School and member of Shells Evangelical Lutheran Church, Don was a self-employed contractor and later retired from Hershey Foods Corporation.

Surviving are his daughter Sheila Vandernick; grandchildren Dylan, Marissa, Derek and McKenna; sisters-in-law Mary Pankake and Janet Pankake; and nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future time.  Private burial in Shells Cemetery.
