Dolores M. Nimsz, 89, of Hershey passed away peacefully Thursday, March 4, 2021 in her apartment at Country Meadows.
Born July 23, 1931 in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late Mark M. and Frances (Cassel) Donmoyer. She was the widow of Ferdinand J. “Fred” Nimsz since January 1996 and also preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Donmoyer.
Retired from the former Fox’s Market, Hershey, she was a 1949 graduate of Hershey High School, member of Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, the 49’ers Breakfast Club and the Kaylor Gang. She enjoyed birdwatching, gardening, collecting antiques, sewing, coloring, hosting family holidays, and spending as much time as possible at her cabin in the mountains of Snyder County, PA.
Surviving are her daughters Elizabeth, wife of Brad Steffen of Palmyra, Karen, wife of Frank Kibler of Elizabethtown and Cindy, wife of Larry Cracraft of Pinehurst, NC; grandchildren Julie Steffen, Amy, wife of Jay Wilson and Mark, husband of Danelle Johnson; step granddaughter Sarah, wife of Dave Thompson; five great grandchildren; and sisters Kay, wife of Don Byler and Ruthann, wife of Dick Byerly.
Service with burial at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville will be at the convenience of the family.
