Della J. (Boltz) Howard

Della J. (Boltz) Howard, 79, of South Annville Township passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024 at home.

Born June 6, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Marlin and Dorothy (Dewitt) Boltz and widow of John D. Howard since October 2021, after 57 years of marriage.

A 1963 graduate of Cornwall High School, Della had worked for Murry’s Steaks in Lebanon.  She enjoyed going to Hollywood Casino, playing Skip-Bo and loved anything to do with The Wizard of Oz.  Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her children, grandchildren, great granddaughter and extended family and friends.

Surviving are her children Tammy J., wife of Jeff Kerkeslager, John M., husband of Cindy Howard and Marlin L., husband of Michelle Howard; siblings Marilyn, wife of Ray Miller, Richard Boltz, and Ronnie Boltz; grandchildren Heather, wife of Josh Lundsted, Amber Howard, Ryan Howard and Cole Howard; and great granddaughter Emily Lundsted.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 10:00 AM.  Interment in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
