David W. Muma, Sr. of Palmyra passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025.
Born September 24, 1941 in Saint Elmo, Illinois, he was a son of the late John W. and Mona R. (Burrus) Muma. He was the widower of Sandra L. (Bowman) Muma since November 5, 2023, after 58 years of marriage, and also preceded in death by sisters Jane E. Muma and Barbara S. Ambrose.
He retired as a professional engineer and surveyor from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. David was a member of Palmyra First United Methodist Church, attended Hill Lutheran Church, Cleona and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his children Tracey Ann Bender (widow of Gregory), Tina Louise Snead (Michael), and David Wesley Muma, Jr. (Alicia); sisters Kristine A. Logue, Karla M. Paine and Tammy M. Lash; nine grandchildren; and two great grandsons.
A viewing will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra. Interment, with military honors, will be 10:00 AM Friday, August 29, 2025 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville followed by an 11:30 AM memorial service at Hill Lutheran Church, 998 North Mill Street, Lebanon.
