Daniel A. Bixler

Daniel A. Bixler, 91, of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

He was born in Schuylkill County on April 2, 1933 and was preceded in death by parents Harry and Mildred (Rummel) Bixler and three siblings.

Retired from the former Raub Supply, Harrisburg and then Manheim Auto Auction in Grantville, Dan had a lifetime love of animals and various equestrian pursuits, with many championships.

Surviving are his roommate David L. Sitlinger; daughters Daryl E. Bixler (Peter Buckle) of Montgomery and Danette Bixler-George (Gregory George) of Coalport; foster daughter Marilyn Taylor of Middletown; grandchildren Terra E. Bixler-George (Jason Lutz), Nicholas A. Buckle (Sara), Isaac M. Buckle, Jasmine R. Taylor, and Kussandra M. Klinger (Brock Hebel).

Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.
