Cynthia R. Weatherholtz, 60, of Swatara Township passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 alongside her granddaughter Kristi R. Dougherty and father Paul W. Garman.
Born November 28, 1963 in Hershey, she was a daughter of Mamie R. (Lefever) Newhouse Garman of North Londonderry Township and the late Wilson J. Newhouse. Cindy was the widow of Eric A. Weatherholtz, Sr.
Employed by ASK, Palmyra, she was an active member of Palmyra Church of the Brethren and formerly involved with The Caring Cupboard.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by children Amanda R. Dougherty (Travis McConnell) of Harrisburg, Rebekah J. Templin (Timothy) of Palmyra, and Eric A. “Buddy” Weatherholtz, Jr. (Amber Lovell) of Palmyra; siblings Dennis Garman, Sr. of Highspire, Donald Garman (Laurie) of Palmyra, Wendy Haver (Brad) of Elizabethtown, Wilson J. Newhouse, Jr. (Peggy) of Valrico, Florida, Paula Oster (Dana) of Marietta, Brian Newhouse of Annville, and Kevin Newhouse (fiancée Cindy Caviness) of Kernersville, North Carolina; grandsons Tucker Dougherty and Theodore Weatherholtz.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Palmyra Church of the Brethren, 45 North Chestnut Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 9:00 AM. Interment in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
