Charlotte M. McCrary Obituary

Charlotte M. McCrary, 100, of South Hanover Township, died on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at her home.

Born May 11, 1921 in Philadelphia, Charlotte was the daughter of the late Henry W. and Charlotte P. (Phillips) Minster. She was the widow of Roy A. McCrary since July 2006 and also pre-deceased by her brother John Minster, sister Doris Marrare and grandson Michael David Shipman.

During World War II, she worked in a factory building planes for the war effort. Later Charlotte worked, for several years, as a dental hygienist.

Surviving are her daughter Cheryl Shipman, wife of Henry Shipman; grandsons Jeremy Shipman and wife Jennifer, Justin Shipman and wife Nicola, Nathaniel Shipman and wife Margaret; and five great grandchildren Corey Shipman, Derek Shipman, Edie Shipman, Harriet Shipman and Lewis Shipman.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
