Catharine M. (Shive) Hand

Catharine M. Hand, 91, daughter of John and Margery Shive peacefully passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 in her home.

She was the widow of John E. Hand, Sr. and preceded in death by daughters Ioleta Hetrick and Christine Doong; sons Terry Hand, Randy Hand, and Edward Hand; and grandson Michael.

Surviving are her daughter Margery (Tom) Glover; son John E. (Janie) Hand, Jr.; sisters Edith Wiestling and Paulette Green; seven grandchildren Sean, Cassie, Stephen, Shane, Todd, Terry, and Michelle; and eleven great grandchildren.

She was a member of Shellsville V. F. W. #9639 Auxiliary.  Catharine, Mom, Mommy, Nanny, Nan, and Kitty is loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends in Pennsylvania, Texas, North Carolina, Maryland, and Georgia.

A funeral service and viewing will be held 9:00 AM Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra with interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
