Carl W. Emerick

Carl W. Emerick, 83, of Palmyra passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

Born February 21, 1943 in Hershey, he was a son of the late Charles and Ethel (Poorman) Emerick and widower of Mary E. (Blauch) Emerick since December 2020, after 58 years of marriage.  Carl was also preceded in death by siblings James Emerick and Marlene Reniere.

Retired from Hershey Chocolate, he was a member of the Chocolate Workers Union Local 464, Lebanon Polka Club, and life member of the Palmrya Sportsmen’s Association.

Surviving are his son Ronald, husband of Karen Emerick; siblings Donald Emerick, Stanley Emerick, Rodney Emerick, Judith White, Alysea Framton, and Karen Deck; and companion Elaine Kohr.

A private graveside service will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Palmyra Sportsmen’s Association, 410 Sportsman Road, Annville, PA 17003.
