Brenda S. Lutz

Brenda S. Lutz, 71, of Lebanon passed away Friday, March 29, 2024.

Born October 31, 1952 in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy (Hemperly) Lutz.  She was a 1970 graduate of Palmyra High School, attended Muhlenberg College, and graduated from Elizabethtown College in 1976 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Brenda was passionate about accounting.  Her career spanned over 40 years with nearly 21 years at The Hershey Company where she retired in 2002.  She continued her work at Modine Manufacturing (2002-2007), Lancaster and Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, Harrisburg (2007-2018).  Her most recent employment was Palmyra Church of the Brethren as a bookkeeper.  A lifelong member of Bindnagle Lutheran Church, Brenda contributed to the life of the church as treasurer (1981-present).

Surviving are her beloved sister, Barbara A. Lutz; aunt Phoebe (Lex) Lutz; and cousins Nancy J. Grubb and Laraine Lutz Hinton.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at her church with private interment in the adjoining Bindnagle Cemetery.
