Brenda K. (Liskey) Deaven

Brenda K. Deaven, 68, of Elizabethtown passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at home.

Born February 18, 1952 in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late Paul J. and Jessie Belle (Rudy) Liskey.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter Jessica S. Deaven in 1981 and brothers Paul Liskey, Jr. and Harold Liskey.

Retired from H.B. Reese’s Candy Company, she was a member of Hope Community Church, Mount Joy.  Brenda was a 1969 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School and then served for a year as a missionary on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona.

Surviving are her husband of 47 years William E. Deaven; son Joshua Paul Deaven (Denise Grubb Deaven) of Elizabethtown; siblings Cynthia Lamb (Daniel) of Elizabethtown, Mark Liskey (Angela) of Winterville, North Carolina, and Faith Baker (Virgil) of Elizabethtown.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 6:30 PM Monday, June 22, 2020 at Hope Community Church, 1806 Harrisburg Avenue, Mount Joy.  Private interment was in Hershey Cemetery.
