Bonnie N. (Walmer) Gardner

Bonnie N. Gardner, 72, of Lower Paxton Township passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022.

Born September 8, 1949 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late John N. and Marian K. (Koons) Walmer.

Bonnie was a part-time receptionist at Days Inn, Grantville and helped her cousin Dawn at Village Antiques, Grantville.  A member of Faith United Church of Christ, she loved antiques, sitting outside, and watching old movies and Westerns, especially on TV Land.  She loved watching the neighborhood, had a heart of gold, was a fighter and did what she could for her daughters and family.

Surviving are her husband of 35 years Jimmy Gardner; daughters Jennifer L. Adams (widow of David) of Grantville and Julie B. Marsh of Harrisburg; sisters Beverly A. Wyld (Byron), Barbara E. Miller (widow of Bradley), and Bambi L. Deimler; grandchildren Kristyn Adams, Luke Adams, and Nathan Gardner; great grandson Ayden Shoults; and beloved dog Archie.

A memorial service will be held 11:30 AM Saturday, May 14, 2022 at her church, 117 North Faith Road, Grantville preceded by a visitation from 10:00 AM.
