Betty J. (Kreiser) Stone

Betty J. Stone, 95, formerly of Grantville passed away Monday, January 15, 2024 in Pine Grove.

Born August 31, 1928 in Grantville, she was a daughter of the late John and Sarah (Drupp) Kreiser and widow since November 2009 of Henry M. Stone, Jr. after 61 years of marriage.  She was also preceded in death by a son John Stone and siblings David Ober, Alice Kreiser Speraw, Elmer Kreiser, and Dawson Kreiser.

Retired from Jonestown Garment Factory, she was a longtime member of the former Zion Lutheran Church, Grantville.  Betty enjoyed traveling with family and taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her children LuAlice Cooper (Gary) of Lebanon, Bette Jo Long (Luke, Sr.) of Schuylkill Haven, and Robert Stone (Jane) of Snellville, Georgia; sister Mabel Bucks of Mississippi; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.

Private interment in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
