Barry L. Rhine, 76, of South Londonderry Township, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022.
Born August 14, 1945 in Hershey, he was a son of the late John C. and Marguerite B. (Pankake) Rhine.
Barry formerly worked for Royer Buick and then retired as owner/operator of Rhine’s Auto Body Shop, Hershey. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Hershey, Good Fellows Hunting Camp, Potter County and Mid Mountain Hunting Camp, Grantville. For 25 years, Barry spent summers at the West Bay Waterfront Community in Delaware. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, wrestling fan, and card player, but family was first and foremost. Those who loved him also knew him as “Pap” or “Uncle Barry.”
Surviving are his wife of 40 years Patricia Ann (Haines) Rhine; daughter Camela S. James of Camp Hill; son Bradley N. Rhine of Hershey; brothers John H. Rhine (widower of Patricia), Dean C. Rhine (Gayla) and Bruce N. Rhine (April); grandchildren Kristin James and Derek James as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 212 Cocoa Avenue, Hershey preceded by a viewing from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. Private interment will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
