Barbara M. H. (Hoerner) Leedy

Barbara M. H. Leedy, 88, of Londonderry Village, Palmyra went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, April 13, 2023.

Barbara Maryann was born December 2, 1934 in Harrisburg, PA.  She was the daughter of the late Edwin R. and Mary E. (Crook) Hoerner and also preceded in death by son Steven D. Leedy and brothers John E. and Robert L. Hoerner.

Surviving are her daughters Kathy D. Kreiser and Kristina D. Sgrignoli (Rodger); grandchildren Joseph Leedy, Jennifer Leedy, Rebecca Kreiser, Nicole Bartley-Sgrignoli (Jeff) and David Sgrignoli (Bethany); great grandsons Treyvon and Malcolm Leedy; sister Rebecca Seidel (George); and brother Clifford Hoerner (Nora).  Her family was the love of her life.

She was a member of Spring Creek Church of the Brethren and took her religion very seriously.  Also a member of Harrisburg Cedarettes, Barbara worked in the insurance industry for 60 years having retired from Enders Insurance Associates.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, playing cards and cross stitching.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, 335 East Areba Avenue, Hershey preceded by a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.  Private interment will be in Hummelstown Cemetery.
