Barbara Ann (Casper) Musko, 78, beloved mother, sister, grandmother and aunt peacefully joined her father, mother, husband and son on September 21, 2024.
Her journey began in Western, PA on May 14, 1946. After beginning her family, they relocated to central Pennsylvania where most of her fond memories were spent with the families in Old Forge Acres. Most recently Barbara lived at Harmony at Hershey. She was one of the kindest, generous, loving and loyal family members you could be blessed with while being a strong fearless entity to be reckoned with when duty called. She was the epitome of Grit and Grace. Her devotion to her family and Catholic faith followed her throughout life. She loved being a CCD teacher. She truly enjoyed her family time during holidays, loved volunteering at and donating to places close to her heart and showed unwavering friendships and love to all who knew her. Barbara loved family boat trips at Raystown Lake, Rehoboth Beach trips with family and friends and hostessing Christmas Eve family gatherings.
Most of her career life was spent as the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Executive Director for the Nursing Home Loan Agency. She also worked for the Department of Commerce and embarked on some real estate ventures with her father for a few years before retiring to enjoy golf with her husband Richard and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Rosalie (Pozo) and William Casper, husband Richard Musko, Sr., son Richard Musko, Jr. and brother Michael Casper.
Barbara leaves behind her daughter Kimberly Musko, Shillington; grandson Jarrod Musko, Palmyra; stepmother Margaret “Peggy” Casper; siblings Patricia Cross, William Casper, Jr. and Eileen Gilson and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends at Harmony. The family wishes to thank her caregivers at Harmony and Hospice for All Seasons.
She may not be here any longer but will always be etched in our hearts.
