Barbara A. (Buckwalter) Bell

Barbara A. Bell, 78, of Palmyra passed away Wednesday June 3, 2026.

Born January 20, 1948, in Huntingdon, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Thelma (Goodman) Buckwalter.  The widow of John M. Bell since October 2020, Barbara was also preceded in death by her son Douglas Messenger in March 2020.

She was a bartender for over 50 years, serving at Palmyra American Legion, Palmyra VFW and most recently at Gary’s Bar, Palmyra.

Surviving are her daughter, Amber Neidlinger, and husband Mark of Harrisburg; step daughter Lorriann Bell and wife Amy Ionoff; step son Scott Bell and partner Chris  Lezzi; and her grandchildren, who she adored, Dylen M. Hammer, Kaleb A. Neidlinger and Kylee G. Neidlinger.

There will be no funeral service.
