Audrey J. (Herr) Eckert

Audrey J. Eckert, 84, of Mount Gretna and formerly of Campbelltown passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025.

Born April 15, 1941 in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Styron E. and Mabel E. (Nye) Herr.

Retired from the former Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra, she enjoyed decorating her home, gardening, and plants, and was an amazing cook.  Audrey loved spending time with her family and the many pets she loved and cared for over the years.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years Richard R. Eckert, Sr.; sons Richard R. Eckert, Jr. (Yoko) of Cornwall, Nathaniel H. Eckert of Palmyra, and Andrew H. Eckert (Wendy) of Mount Gretna; daughter Beth A. Hoffer (William) of Campbelltown; brother Donald E. Herr (Marcia) of North Carolina; and grandchildren Nathan Eckert, Derek Eckert, Ethan Eckert, Erika Eckert, and Vanessa (Eckert) Beckman.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, September 22, 2025 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 10:00 AM.  Private interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
