With profound sadness we announce the passing of Angela C. Costabile, our loving and devoted mother, friend to all whose lives she touched, March 19, 2020 at the age of 100 years.
Born May 27, 1919 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Emelia (Bove) Garramone and sister to the late Pat “Chickie” Garramone. Angela was a resident of Harrisburg and formerly of Grantville and Hilton Head, South Carolina.
Angela lived a full and happy life as a wife, mother and homemaker. At the side of her beloved husband of almost 75 years, Philip A. Costabile, Angela co-founded PAC Industries, a prominent business in Harrisburg. Most of all she loved her family and instilled strong values and an ardent faith. Angela was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Devoted to the Blessed Mother, her life mirrored Mary’s virtues of humility, kindness, wisdom, love and unceasing prayer.
Angela leaves behind five of her seven children, Vincentina Taylor, Emelia “Ginger” Seele (widow of Ivan), Rocco (Marsha), Frank (Nicole), Wayne (Cheryl) and daughter-in-law, Kathy Costabile. In addition to her husband Philip who passed in 2013, Angela was preceded in death by two of her sons, Philip and David. She was loved by all including her 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Private interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg.
