Amy M. Kreider, 45, of Pine Grove passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 in the M. S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born December 10, 1974 in Lebanon, she was a 1996 graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and employed at Quentin Tavern. Amy swam competitively from childhood through high school, was a Cedar Crest High School cheerleader for soccer and football. She was an All-American Cheerleader and cheered in the Aloha Bowl in Hawaii. Bob and Amy lived in Key West, Florida for 2 1/2 years where they enjoyed fishing, snorkeling, and extensively long days at the beach. Camping and being outdoors with her family was one of her favorite pastimes. Amy will always be remembered by her contagious smile that would light up the room.
Surviving are her husband of 19 years Robert J. Kreider; daughter Kallie M. Kreider and son Brady R. Kreider both at home; mother and stepfather Joan M. and Greg Kotay of Lebanon; father and stepmother Jeffrey R. and Yvonne Helt of Palmyra; sisters Tracy M. Helt (Jason Haney) of Palmyra and Kelley J. Murrah (Chris) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; brother in law Matthew P. Kreider (Julie) of Lebanon and special feline friend Aspen.
