Alvin J. Fox

Alvin J. Fox, 87, of South Hanover Township passed away Monday, April 19, 2021 at home. 

Born October 19, 1933 in Palmyra, Dauphin County, he was a son of the late Robert and Arline (Crawford) Fox.  Alvin was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Marjorie Jane (Long) Fox on April 17, 2021 and also preceded in death by sisters Sarah Fox and Irene Lehigh.

Retired from H. B. Reese Candy Company, he attended Hanoverdale Church and enjoyed working on lawnmowers and cars.  He was formerly a member of Annville United Zion Church. 

Surviving are his daughters Carol Gipe of Hershey and Crystal Mantz of Etters; sisters Verna Wagner, May Eyster and Violet Geesaman; five grandchildren; and one great grandson.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 26, 2021 at Hanoverdale Cemetery, Hummelstown preceded by a viewing from 10:00 AM at the cemetery.
