William M. Baker

William M. Baker, 88, of South Hanover Township, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019.

Born August 21, 1931 in West Chester, he was a son of the late Ralph H., Sr. and Rhoda G. (Dobson) Baker and preceded in death by his brother Ralph H. Baker, Jr.

Retired from the United States Air Force, he was a member of Church of the Redeemer United Church of Christ, Hershey, where he served on the leadership team, and Perseverance Lodge #21 F. & A.M.

Surviving are his wife of  63 years Audrey Y. (Yeager) Baker; daughter Laura, wife of Michael Eitland of Palmyra; son William M. “Matt,” II, husband of Elizabeth Baker of Steelton; granddaughters Lauren, wife of Michael Wanich and Kara Baker; and sister-in-law Janet P. Baker.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 28, 2019 at his church, 500 West Chocolate Avenue, Hershey preceded by a viewing from 1:30 PM.  Interment will be in Hummelstown Cemetery.
