William "Bill" "Gene" Hallman Obituary
William “Bill” “Gene” Hallman, 77, of Hummelstown passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019 at his home surrounded by family.
Born August 1, 1942 in Lebanon, he was a son of the late William R. and Gladys (Beers) Hallman and also preceded in death by his brother Charles E. Hallman.
Former owner of Hallman’s Body Shop, he enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, was an avid golfer and attended the former Bridge Church of Hummelstown.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years Gloria J. (Sheeder) Hallman; daughter Dawn M., wife of Earl Burger; son Douglas M., husband of Stephanie Hallman; sisters Carolyn Uhrich, Sandra, wife of Barry Shellenhamer, and Beverly, wife of Tom Overa; grandchildren Jordan Hallman, Joshua Lineaweaver, Matthew, husband of Destiny Lineaweaver, Blake Hallman, and Briahna Hallman.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Sunset Golf Course, 2601 Sunset Drive, Middletown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Residential Hospice of Carlisle, 100 Sterling Parkway, Suite 110, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
