Wava has been a dear friend of ours since about 1983. She first became the most helpful church librarian, lending me a fresh set of children's books each week for a children's bible study, and later joined the two of us in ministering each week in a hymnsing at an assisted living facility in Arlington, VA. It was Wava who got the hymnsing off the ground by giving us her church's senior citizen songbooks! Wava usually joined us on Sundays for a visit to two nursing home residents and we all loved the times in that small room, singing and sharing the goodness of the Lord. We have a number of highlights of our times together over the years--including some with Wava after she moved up to the Lebanon Valley Brethren home. We thank the Lord for making us friends and for her precious niece, Judy, of whom Wava spoke so often! We look forward to seeing her again in glory-- Judy & Carol
