Violet L. Montgomery, 88, of Bethany Towers, Mechanicsburg passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 in PinnacleHealth West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg.
Born February 24, 1929 in London, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Reginald and Daisy Jolliffe and was also preceded in death by daughter Lynda Montgomery, son Barry Montgomery, and sister Marian Jolliffe.
At Bethany Towers, Vi was the Calendar Girls Coordinator and unofficial activities coordinator. She traveled the world and loved visiting places when she was married, would help anyone, had the best sense of humor, and held animal rights close to her heart. An avid reader, she enjoyed biographies, The New York Times, and keeping up with world events.
Surviving are her daughter Susan A., wife of Jeff Crook and son Philip Montgomery.
