Verna Jane (Deimler) Kleinfelter

Verna J. “Jane” Kleinfelter, 77, of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County passed away Monday, November 13, 2017.

Born February 24, 1940 in East Hanover Township, Dauphin County, she was a daughter of the late Mason E. and Helen E. (May) Deimler.  The widow of Eugene T. Kleinfelter, Sr. in 1999, she was also preceded in death by siblings Charles Deimler, Irvin Deimler, Annie Ortity, Robert Deimler, and John Deimler.

Retired from Wert Bookbinding, Grantville, she had previously worked for Kinney Shoe Corporation and enjoyed playing cards.

Surviving are her son Eugene T., Jr., husband of Bonnie S. Kleinfelter of Norfolk, Virginia; daughter Elisha M., wife of Corey V. Reed of Hummelstown; sisters Ruth N. Wilt of Myerstown and Edith E. Bixler of Hummelstown; grandchildren Natasha, Mason, Ashtyn, and Alivia; and great grandchildren Baal, Mason, Jr., and Lilith.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Buse Funeral Home, 9066 Jonestown Road, Grantville with interment in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.  Viewings 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday and 9:30 – 10:00 AM Saturday both at the funeral home.
