Terry S. Shimp, 65, of Key West, Florida, and Palmyra, Pennsylvania passed away Monday, July 17, 2017.
Born January 12, 1952 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Cyrus L. and Pauline (Miller) Shimp. He was also preceded in death by his son Brian S. Shimp and sister Donna R. Shimp. His brother Richard L. Shimp, passed the next morning.
Terry was a graduate of Palmyra High School and the University of Texas El Paso where he was a member of the baseball team.
Owner of Shimp Daddy’s Sports Pub, Key West, Terry had previously been employed as Director of Marketing for the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center, Director of Operations for The Hotel Hershey and Director of Marketing for the Casa Marina and Reach Resorts in Key West, Florida. He loved golf and was a fan of all sports.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years Cathy A. (Viall) Shimp and son Jonathan A., husband of Amy Shimp of Palmyra, Pennsylvania.
A service will be held at the convenience of his family.
