Shelby Rae Lefever

Shelby Rae “Shelbaby” Lefever, 23, died on Saturday, May 25, 2019 in the West Shore Hospital of a suspected virus that attacked her heart.

Born in Hershey, on September 25, 1995, she was a daughter of Dean and Nicole (Schneck) Lefever.

She worked at Bimbo Bakeries, Carlisle, where she met her soulmate Joey.  Shelby was her parents’ Rockstar.  She had a love of life, an infectious smile and the unforgettable scowl that made some scared.  As Shelby always put it, she had a cold heart, but those who were lucky enough to know her knew she had a golden heart.  She loved spending time with family and friends (which she considered her family).

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister Summer Lefever at home; soulmate Joey Fahnestock and his two boys Matty and Mikey, which she loved as her own; grandparents Rick and Wendy Schneck; great grandma Mary Schneck; several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Paul and Arbutus Lefever and Ronald and Sharon Cassel, and aunt Paula Lynn Lefever.

Shelby’s light will forever shine in the ones that knew her.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, May 31, 2019 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 1:00 PM.
