Ruth N. (Kline) Maurer

Ruth N. Maurer, 81, of Hershey passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.

Born May 11, 1936 in Jonestown, she was a daughter of the late Victor D. and Elizabeth M. (Nye) Kline and the widow of James C. Maurer since December 2013.  She was also preceded in death by siblings Elizabeth Hartman, Samuel Kline, and James Kline.

A retired deli clerk from Weis Grocery Store, she loved making canvas crafts, knitting and was a puzzle maniac.

Surviving are her daughter Glenda Muldoon of Hershey; son Joseph Maurer of Harrisburg; siblings Annie Snyder, Victor Kline, David Kline, Esther Leonard, Martha Simmons, Dorothy Engle, Mildred Metrick, and Grace Shifflet; grandchildren Andrea Leaper, Tammy Leaper, Amanda Muldoon, and Patrick Muldoon; great grandchildren Geovanni Meyer, Nevaeh Meyer, and Niko Meyer.

A life celebration will take place 7:30 PM Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 6:00 PM.
