Rose Marie Gingrich, 76, of Palmyra passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born January 11, 1941 in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Denver L. and Esther C. (Wilhelm) Herr and the widow of Martin H. Gingrich, Jr. since August 2003.
She was a retired elementary school teacher, graduate of Millersville State College, and member and organist of Trinity United Church of Christ, Palmyra. A member of the American Quilter’s Society and Lebanon Quilters Guild, she enjoyed traveling and had visited all the continents.
Surviving are her sons Mark A. Gingrich of Endicott, New York and Jonathan E. Gingrich of Palmyra and brother Denver W. Herr of Palmyra.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 27, 2017 at her church, 40 West Pine Street, Palmyra preceded by a visitation from 10:00 AM. Interment in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
