Robert F. Winter, 88, formerly of Palmyra, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 in Juniper Village at Lebanon.
Born March 26, 1929 in Lebanon, he was a son of the late Peter and Helen (Salay) Winter and was also preceded in death by a son Frank Winter and brothers Richard Winter and Joseph Winter.
Retired from Alcoa, he was Chairman of the Board for 25 years of Lebanon Federal Credit Union, a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of American Legion #945.
Surviving are his wife of 25 years Martha I. (Barto) Winter; children Karen Beard, Robert Winter, Elaine Stanley, Jeffrey Winter and Alan Winter; step children Cynthia Weaber, Debra Wooley and Thomas Houser; siblings Sister Agnes Marie Winter and James Winter; seventeen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A service, with military honors, will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
