Pietro D. D'Amore

Pietro D. “Pete” D’Amore, 58, of Campbelltown and formerly of Hopatcong, New Jersey passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019.

Born September 21, 1961 in Denville Township, New Jersey, he was a son of Pietro C. D’Amore and the late Celesta M. (Marenghi) Tulli.

A former basketball coach, he enjoyed basketball, collecting football cards, and cooking, even winning People’s Choice at the Kipona Fest Chili Cookoff.  Pete was a Miami Dolphins and Dan Marino fanatic.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughters Danielle L., wife of Adam Cover of Georgia, Janae R. D’Amore of Elizabethtown, and Melissa A. D’Amore of Elizabethtown; grandson Benjamin Cover; longtime partner Melissa Scowcroft; brother John Tulli; sister Maria Donna Bellami; and many loved ones.

A visitation will be held 1:00 – 3:00 PM Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Buse Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
