Nancy M. (Uhrich) Long

Nancy M. Long, 74, of North Londonderry Township passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital, Harrisburg.

Born April 21, 1944 in Hershey, she was the daughter of the late Victor L. and Hilma W. (Dunn) Uhrich and also preceded in death by a brother James Uhrich.

Retired concierge from the Hershey Lodge, she was a 1962 graduate of Palmyra High School and enjoyed flowers, pumpkins, and traveling.  Nancy lived for family, friends, and laughter.

Surviving are her husband of 54 years Garry R. Long; children Michelle R. Speece of Pittsburgh, Jarrod E. Long of San Francisco, California, David E. Long, PhD, husband of Christina Wright, PhD of Salt Lick, Kentucky, and Ryan C., husband of Jennifer Long of Annville; brother Jerry, husband of Marty Uhrich of Palmyra; grandsons Zachary Speece, Graham Speece, and Evan Long.

A memorial service will be held 12:30 PM Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a visitation from 11:30 AM.  Private interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Nancy requested that flowers be sent to brighten her service.
