Nancy L. (Garrison) Hawthorne

Nancy L. Hawthorne, 81, of Hummelstown passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019.

Born February 22, 1938 in South Hanover Township, Dauphin County, she was a daughter of the late Jack I. and Lula (Talley) Garrison and the widow of George E. Hawthorne since November 2004.  She was also preceded in death by brothers LeRoy and William Garrison; sisters Irene Garrison, Pauline Hetrick, Helen Garrison, and Gladys Garrison; one half brother; and three half sisters.

Retired from the former Gladstone Candy Factory, she enjoyed vacations and traveling with George and more recently visiting the Casino.

Surviving are her sister Violet M., wife of Paul Fackler of Palmyra; niece Joanne Good, wife of Dave Stoltzfus of Elizabethtown; and nephew Steven D., husband of Carol Fackler of Palmyra.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, June 14, 2019 at Buse Funeral Home, 2 East Main Street, Hummelstown preceded by a viewing from 12:00 Noon.  Interment in Grantville Cemetery.
