Jeffery G. Morningwake

Jeffery G. Morningwake, 52, of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 at his home.

Born August 13, 1966 in Harrisburg, he was a son of Myrtle (Kohr) Morningwake of Harrisburg and the late George Morningwake, Sr.

He was a former employee of West Hanover Township and was an avid local sprint car fan.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife Karen L. (Carnes) Morningwake; brothers George Morningwake, Jr., husband of Karen M. Morningwake and Robert Morningwake; step son Jon Sharon; niece Lisa Hudson; great nephews Harley Newcomer and Devon Hudson; and great niece Neketa Hartman.

A visitation will be held 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Saturday, February 2, 2019 at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 165 Firehouse Road, Grantville followed by a time of fellowship at Noon at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harrisburg Humane Society, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
