James W. Stolte Obituary

James W. Stolte, 63, of Palmyra passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in the Hershey Medical Center.

 

Born April 25, 1955 in York, he was a son of the late Robert and Jean (Kostenbauder) Stolte and was preceded in death by a brother Drew Stolte.

 

He was a retired pharmacist from Lebanon CVS with over 25 years of service.  A graduate of Hanover High School and the former Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, Jim was a member of First United Methodist Church, Palmyra.

 

Surviving are his wife of almost 32 years Karen L. (Spancake) Stolte; daughters Ashley N. Stolte of Washington, DC and Megan Stolte, fiancée of Matthew Kaufman of Charlottesville, Virginia; siblings Quay, husband of Linda Stolte of Shippensburg, David, husband of Wanda Stolte of Maryland, Mary Farrell of Harrisburg, Robin, wife of Woody Barnett of Reading, and Sharon Altland of Hanover.

 

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at First United Methodist Church, 520 East Birch Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Hershey Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
