Harry F. Foutz, 92, of Palmyra passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 in the Lebanon VA Medical Center.
Born March 14, 1925 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was a son of the late William J. and Miriam A. (Fryberger) Foutz. He was the widower of Geraldine M. (Clark) Foutz since April 2015 and also preceded in death by daughter Janelle M. Cloud, brother Richard Foutz, and sister Elizabeth Youtz.
A retired Allstate Insurance adjuster, he was a member of Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, Palmyra, American Legion Post 72, and VFW Post 6417. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a general handyman who loved to build, and was a former member of Family Campers and RVer’s.
Surviving are his children James H., husband of Jean Foutz and Judith A., wife of Greg Stellmach all of Palmyra; son-in-law Harry B. Cloud of Hershey; grandchildren Christopher Foutz, Andrew Foutz, Heather Moyer, Ashley Stellmach, and Michael Cloud; great grandchildren Abigail Foutz, Jason Foutz, Sara Foutz, Connor Foutz, and Keaira Haney.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 8, 2018 at his church, 131 Gravel Hill Road, Palmyra preceded by a visitation from 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
