H. William “Bill” Jockers, Jr., 92, formerly of Hummelstown and Shellsville passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 in Spang Crest, Lebanon.
Born April 8, 1926 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Harry William, Sr. and Doris (Clair) Jockers and the widower of Vivian M. (Dunlap) Jockers since December 2016.
A retired truck driver for Agway Propane, he was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, an amateur Radio Operator, volunteer for Middletown and Hummelstown Railroad Company, and amateur boat builder.
Surviving are his sons Wayne D. Jockers and David W. Jockers, husband of Lisa Mowrer; sister Elizabeth “Betsy” Milard; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A service, with military honors, will be held 11:30 AM Monday, July 23, 2018 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
