Esther C. (Eshleman) Rhine

Esther C. Rhine, 91, of South Hanover Township passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at home.

Born July 12, 1928 in South Hanover Township, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia (Forney) Eshleman, the widow of Paul H. Rhine since May 2014 after 65 years of marriage, and also preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Union Deposit and enjoyed reading, crocheting, and playing with her little dog Katie.

Surviving are her daughter Patricia Benny of South Hanover Township; son Jeffrey, husband of Karen Rhine of Jonestown; grandchildren Allison, wife of Kurt Cranford, Mason Rhine, Christopher Rhine, and Amber, wife of Jeremiah Roeder; and eight great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at her church, 5 West Main Street, Hershey preceded by a visitation from 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 5 West Main Street, Hershey, PA 17033.
