Edith E. (Deimler) Bixler

Edith E. Bixler, 81, of Hummelstown passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

Born March 8, 1938 in Hummelstown, she was a daughter of the late Mason and Helen E. (May) Deimler and was also preceded in death by brothers Raymond, John, Irvin, Robert and Charles Deimler and sisters Annie May Ortity, Verna Jane Kleinfelter, and Ruth N. Wilt.

A former employee of Kutco printing, she retired from Hershey Entertainment and Resort Company, was a member of Shope’s Bethel Church of God, Harrisburg, and loved to garden.

Surviving are her daughters Daryl E. Bixler, wife of Peter Buckle of Montgomery and Danette Bixler-George, wife of Gregory George of Hummelstown; foster daughter Marilyn Taylor of Middletown; and grandchildren Terra E. Bixler-George, Nicholas A. Buckle, Isaac M. Buckle, Jasmine R. Taylor, Kussandra M. Klinger, and Janelle E. Limric.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Buse Funeral Home, 2 East Main Street, Hummelstown preceded by a viewing beginning at 9:30 AM.  Interment in Hummelstown Cemetery.
