E. Martha Houser, 104, of Campbelltown, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family.
Born March 12, 1913 in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Elizabeth (Hitz) Longenecker. She was the widow of Norman H. Houser since 1988 and was also preceded in death by her brother Lester Longenecker.
Retired from the Hershey Medical Center, she was a lifetime member of Campbelltown United Methodist Church, the Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her son, Mark E. Houser, Sr. of Campbelltown; four grandchildren, Mark E., Jr., husband of Stephanie Houser, Dennis E., husband of Stacey Houser, Cindy L., wife of Jay Risser and Stacy L., wife of Keith Morder; eight great grandchildren, Mark, Douglas, Jay, Jr., Daniel, Karissa, Samantha, Michael, and Nicholas; four great great grandchildren, Mark, Jr., Canon, Luke, and Isabelle; and several nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 6, 2017 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery, Campbelltown.
