Dorothy P. (Patrick) Seibert

Dorothy P. Seibert, 82, of Hummelstown passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019.

Born August 16, 1937 in Hoernerstown, she was a daughter of the late Thomas M., Jr. and Mary S. (Aungst) Patrick.  She was the widow of Robert G. Seibert since August 1992 and preceded in death by brother John Patrick and sister Anna Mary, widow of Clair Hurst.

She retired as secretary of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hummelstown, where she was also an active member serving in numerous ways.  A volunteer for the Hummelstown Food Bank, Meals on Wheels delivery and providing local childcare, she belonged to three knitting clubs, enjoyed doing counted cross stitch and reading.

Dottie was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, involved and supportive of her four granddaughters’ activities and a very loyal neighbor and friend.

Surviving are her children Jeffrey D. Seibert of Palmyra, Edward L., husband of Kelly Seibert of Annville and Susan M., wife of John Haldeman of Grantville; sisters Sarah, widow of Oscar Nealy and Eleanor, wife of Harvey Kuntz; sister-in-law Virginia Patrick; and granddaughters Katherine Seibert, Lindsey, wife of Kevin Icker, Kristen Haldeman and Emily Seibert.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Friday, November 15, 2019 at her church, 210 West Main Street, Hummelstown preceded by a visitation beginning at 4:00 PM.  Private interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
