Dorothy Jean (Ober) Armold

Dorothy Jean Armold, 76, of Palmyra passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at home.

Born June 23, 1943 in Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Romanus and Mildred (Faus) Ober and also preceded in death by sister Sandra Brotzman and brother Donald F. Ober.

She was a member of Encounter Church of Palmyra.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years Jay H. Armold; daughters Karen Granzow and Brenda, wife of William Rhoads all of Palmyra; brothers James, husband of Carol (Balmer) Ober of Manheim and Larry Ober of Palm Bay, Florida; grandsons Hunter Rhoads, Seth Granzow, Spencer Rhoads, and Zander Rhoads; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2:30 PM Friday, December 20, 2019 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 1:00 PM.  Interment in Campbelltown United Christian Cemetery.
