Dixie L. Martz, 77, died Sunday, April 30, 2017 at home.
She was the wife of Roy D. Martz, with whom she celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on November 15, 2016.
Born in Windsor Township, York County on October 2, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Perry and Emma (Mundis) Hoffmaster. She was retired from administrative work with North Londonderry Township after 23 years of service and was a member of Gravel Hill United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Steven R. Martz (and wife Melissa) of Danville, PA; daughter Amy S. Wiest of Palmyra, PA; grandchildren Evan and Owen Martz, and Natalie Wiest; brother Terry Hoffmaster of New Providence, PA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brother Perry J. Hoffmaster and sisters Kay Over and Donna M. Graham.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Gravel Hill United Methodist Church preceded by a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. A time of fellowship will follow services. Interment will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
