Debbie L. Haldeman Obituary

Debbie L. Haldeman, 56, of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at home after a 12 month battle with cancer.

 

Born July 15, 1962 in Lancaster, she was a daughter of William C. Capp of Elizabethtown and the late Elsie M. (Nye) Capp.

 

A member and volunteer at Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, she was a 1980 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School, where she was a four year member and two year secretary of the FFA.  Debbie had been employed at Messick Farm Equipment, Lower Dauphin Schools, Haldeman Farms, and Carter Retail Outlet, Hershey.  She enjoyed her cat Maddie and reading, was a proud grandmother, and loved to give, especially to her children and grandchildren.

 

In addition to her father, surviving are her husband of almost 37 years Gern L. Haldeman, Jr.; son Brenton L., husband of Melissa B. Haldeman of Hummelstown; daughter Mallory L., wife of Colby A. Brinser of Middletown; sister Donna K., wife of Michael Spittle of Elizabethtown; brother William C., Jr., husband of Lisa Capp of Hershey; grandchildren Grace and Bryce Haldeman and Autumn and Clyde Brinser; many nieces and nephews.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 15, 2019 at her church, 335 East Areba Avenue, Hershey followed by a time of visitation.  Private interment in Spring Creek Cemetery, Hershey.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, 335 East Areba Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033.
