Clara L. (Imes) Gesford

Clara L. Gesford, 93, of Swatara Township passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019.

Born March 5, 1926 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Cora (Lenker) Imes.  The widow of Thomas H. Gesford since September 2014, she was also preceded in death by siblings Dorothy Schaeffer, William Imes, Louise Eshelman and Martha McWhinney.

She was a member of Chambers Hill United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her daughters Brenda S., wife of Willie Barker of Enhaut and Pamela K. Gesford of Harrisburg; sisters Irene Cioban of Grantville and Vera Schaeffer of Middletown; nieces; and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at her church, 6300 Chambers Hill Road, Harrisburg preceded by a visitation beginning at 6:00 PM.  Private interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
