Catherine Jane (Kipe) Peiffer

Catherine Jane Peiffer, 89, formerly of Palmyra, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the home of her daughter in Saylorsburg.

Born August 8, 1928 in Waynesboro, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Helen (Baily) Kipe.  She was the widow of William F. Peiffer, Jr. since September 2006 and was also preceded in death by a grandson, Richard Hackenberger and granddaughter, Vicki Fox and siblings Frank, Ken, Raymond and Minnie.

Surviving are her children; daughter, Shirley M. Peiffer-Correll and husband, David of Saylorsburg; daughter, Margaret L. Patrick of Mechanicsburg; and son, W. Michael Peiffer and wife, Jackie of Harrisburg; siblings, Robert Kipe of Waynesboro, Alice Snyder of Cleveland, Tennessee, Ann Blalock of Toccoa, Georgia and William Kipe of Waynesboro; six grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Buse Funeral Home, 9066 Jonestown Road, Grantville preceded by a viewing beginning at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
