Brenda C. Dove, 74, of Wheaton Place, Palmyra and formerly of Hummelstown went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 25, 2018 in Londonderry Village, Palmyra.
Born September 22, 1943 in Hoernerstown, she was a daughter of the late Raymond M. “Buck” and Ethel I. (Frye) Fackler. Brenda was the widow of Ernest C. Dove, Jr. since January 2008 and was also preceded in death by brothers Barry L. and Larry R. Fackler.
She was a member of Hershey Free Church and the Bluebird Society. Loving her family, laughing with friends, trying her hands at deer hunting, owning a bucking bull, zip lining in Hawaii, camping along the Susquehanna, spending time with grandchildren Connor and Sami, is but a sampling of Brenda’s adventures! The single most important part of Brenda’s life here on earth was her prayer life. She kept a journal and made sure that each day started with devotion and prayer.
Surviving are a daughter Michelle C., wife of Andrew Noon of Elizabethtown; grandchildren Connor J. Noon and Samantha C., wife of Zachary Soles; and sisters Vicki M. Dravk of Hummelstown, Lorrie J. Long of Palmyra and Mitzi L. Clark of Bensalem.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Hershey Free Church, 330 Hilltop Road, Hummelstown. Burial will be in Hershey Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.
