Betty Zimmerman Obituary

Betty J. Zimmerman, 89, of Virginia and formerly of Palmyra passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019.

Born February 1, 1930 in Palmyra, she was the daughter of the late Galen and Helen (Forney) Dohner. Betty was the widow of Charles L. Zimmerman since 2004 and preceded in death by her daughter Jan M. Jarvis in 2001 and brother Allen H. Dohner in 2015.

Retired from the former W. L. Kreider Shoe Factory, Palmyra, she was a member of First United Methodist Church, Palmyra.

Surviving are her grandchildren Brooke L. Link and husband Michael, Loris F. Jarvis, Jr. and wife Mary, of Virginia; and six great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
