Barry E. Sands

Barry E. Sands, 57, of Grantville passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018.

Born October 23, 1960 in Nassau, Bahamas, he was a son of the late Benjamin Arthur and Eula Sands.

Barry was a trainer at Penn National Race Course, Grantville and a member of Horsemen Benevolent and Protective Association.

Surviving are his children Monique Sands, Patrick Sands, and Michael Sands; siblings Roscoe Sands, Jerry Arthur, Jeffrey Arthur, Suzette Arthur and Jacqueline Deleveaux; granddaughter Sanaiya Sands-Clair; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held 1:30 PM Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Penn National Race Course Chapel (enter at the stable gate, located on the backside of the track), preceded by a viewing beginning at 12:30 PM.
